Whitby's and Zizzi's
Everything is turning in to the saying "Just like buses" On my other website Where's That Musical On I mentioned about not going to see a show for ages and then within the space of a week I had seen 2 well the same happened with restaurants.
The restaurant outings ended up in back to back days.
Whitby's
First up was a trip to the Doncaster branch of Whitby's the Fish and Chip restaurant.I went when it first opened and enjoyed it but then it ends up being that place on your doorstep that you never go near but the other day we needed somewhere to go to meet up with family and we fancied Fish and Chips so Whitby's was the destination.

Cod and Chips - Whitby's
I have a sweet tooth so cannot have a meal without a desert and Whitby's was no different.
It was a cold wet night so something warm was the order of the day so I chose the Apple Crumble and Custard:-
Then to let our bellys settle and have a natter we needed a drink so I decided to wash my food down with a nice Hot Chocolate:
Zizzi's
The day after brought a trip to Manchester to see Bat Out Of Hell the new musical based on the songs of Meatloaf (Click Here For My Review).
First up was a Pizza from their brilliant show piece flaming oven:-
Did we have desert? of course we did. A mouthwatering Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie and Ice Cream. The caramel layer was very fresh and slippery and kept trying to fall of the base:-
And then we went on to see Bat Out Of Hell the new Meatloaf musical. Click here to read my review of the show or visit my musical blog www.whereisthatmusicalon.blogspot.co.uk at a later date. Until the next time goodbye for now! |
