As usual too early the town put up their lights before the smoke of Bonfire Night has subsided but to be honest they are not too bad this year in Doncaster

To start the countdown to Christmas my Wife was fed up with the 30 odd years old Advent Calendar I had been using so she bought me this cute teddy tennis player with all important chocolates inside.

Wandering round the shops I saw the perfect addition to our Christmas Decorations - a light up picture of The Snowman.

Another addition to the collection were a couple of baubles, One I bought from the Vatican whilst touring Rome whilst the second came from that other famous place - The Pound Shop!

One bauble I could not take home with me was in Kings Cross Station we saw while we were waiting to come home following a trip to see a show.

This first one is from Upper Chapel Sheffield follow one of the Advent services where the leader read a story which she illustrated using her Winnie the Poo toys.
