New Year In London 2016 - Part 1

This blog is to show you the pictures of my new year's break in London and to share what I got up to, the places I visited and the sights I saw.

Friday 30th

First up is the view of the sunrise I saw whilst walking in to Doncaster to start the day

When we reached Doncaster we stopped in to the Barley Twist, Doncaster's Premier Inn hotel for one of their great all you can eat breakfast's.

Whilst there we notice how nice the light of the sun made the Minster look:-

We caught the National Express down to London and arrived it Golders Green to the welcome of their Xmas lights:-

After all that traveling it made us hungry so we went looking for somewhere to eat and burger and chips won the choice as we dropped in to the Chelsea branch of Brgr.

Whilst waiting for our food we had enough time to admire the decorations of Cows Heads on the wall.

Here is one for example:-

Last photo of this day's outing is of the theatre after seeing Mamma Mia at the Novello Theatre in London's West End.

This brought a hat trick of viewings for me, having previously seen it on my own just after it first came out and a couple of years ago seeing it on Broadway with my friend when we went to New York to watch the Tennis.
